I am not really a fan of Hello Kitty, not even when I was younger. I mean, the products are cute and girly but I never made an irrational purchase just because Hello Kitty’s face is stamped on the merchandise. Haha. But, it seemed that it was important for me to drop by the Hello Kitty Café in Seoul since everyone seemed to have included it in their itinerary. And since I have seen all the temples there were to see in Seoul, I have a bit of a free time.
The last time I was here, I only got to try their different flavours of gelato. I went back to try their affogato as well as the Ghirardelli Hot Chocolate and Waffle with Gelato.
Affogato
I was asking my brother to split an affogato (Php 95) but he already tasted it before and he didn’t like it. He found it too bitter. But I am all for bitter chocolates and coffee, so I was indeed willing to give this a shot. An affogato is composed of a shot of espresso mixed with a scoop of ice cream, often vanilla in flavour. At Caffé Ti Amo, they have cashews on the side if you like your affogato with nuts.
