Gong Cha Milk Tea

Posted on October 24th, 2011 by Kristel

Being someone whose train of thought goes kaput whenever I see or realize that a milk tea store is near to where I am, I know I have to try out Gong Cha. I have read a lot of pretty good reviews about the store, especially what is said to be their best seller, Gong Cha Milk Winter Melon Tea.

Rock Salt and Cheese Drinks at Happy Lemon

Posted on September 10th, 2011 by Kristel

I’ve been hearing about Happy Lemon for quite some time now but since it has been ages since I have set foot in Greenhills, I never really had a chance to try out their drinks. It was the milk tea addict in me that got me eager to head to Rockwell when I heard about its opening. The store was still on soft opening and the line was long.

The good thing about it was that I got to look at their menu, had time to assess and observe what people were ordering. I was torn between the usual milk tea or their rock salt and cheese variant. I was also eyeing on their green tea yakult drink but the word “cheese” was pulling me to its direction. And so I finally ordered and got Green Tea Rock Salt and Cheese (Php 90 – large) drink. Milk Tea Addiction with Serenitea

Posted on June 19th, 2011 by Kristel

Probably one of the most talked about milk tea places these days, I am glad I have finally tried Serenitea. Location is the main reason why it took me so long to know what all the fuss was about. Thus, I decided to give Serenitea a call and asked for directions.

It’s Milk Tea Time at Chatime!

Posted on June 1st, 2011 by Kristel

I had been complaining that there is no good milk tea I can purchase around Makati. Although that may not be exactly accurate, stores which sell milk teas (if there actually are) in the city might not be within my usual route. Upon seeing a lot of posts about Chatime, I can’t help but be intrigued and research as to their different branches in the metro. Lo and behold, they just opened a stall in Landmark Makati, which is a very convenient place for me to go to.

It was a little bit of let down that the branch only had a stall instead of a café sort of set-up, like that of their branch in Pioneer. I am guessing the rent is so expensive (after all, it’s in Makati). And so I shrugged it off and was delighted to see that there were only two people ahead of me (which by now I realized was a rare occurrence since my siblings always had to endure a long line in every attempt to buy). As I fell in line, I noticed a bunch of people on what I later realized to be a claiming counter of sort waiting for their orders. There were more than three people after all.
