Have a Slice of Sandy’s Pizza!

Posted on February 4th, 2012 by Kristel

Last year, I almost forgot that I had a coupon expiring. I was one of those who was addicted in hunting for great deals online but now, I found a new way to save money. Not to even look anymore. Haha. Anyway, that coupon was Sandy’s Pizza. I bought it for around Php 600 if I’m not mistaken. This came with a large pizza (14” I think), a choice of chicken wings and choice of pasta.

Since it was on the last day of availing that I remembered, I couldn’t tag along anyone with me to go to one of their branches, so I had those delivered at an additional Php 100. As I was informed, the delivery took around 50 minutes.

Lunch at L’Incontro

Posted on February 2nd, 2012 by Kristel

Over the holidays late last year, I availed of Deal Grocer’s L’Incontro lunch set for around Php 600 (also included were a personal size pizza and a 200ml bottle of bubbly). I figured, I have been wanting to try out the restaurant for so long and since I find it difficult to tag people to go with me, I just had to make things happen. Also, I thought the voucher was pretty worth it, below is the run down of what was included with the meal.

The restaurant has that country house feel with its airy atmosphere and dark wood furniture. I had to call up a day before to reserve and we were seated right away when we arrived. The tables had a simple setting with green and tomato salsa prepared for the bread that they will soon serve.

Steak at Krave!

Posted on December 31st, 2011 by Kristel

Thinking where you can have dinner on the last night of the year? Now, just make sure to call them up first because I am not sure whether they are open or not. Honestly, I am cramming writing and posting because I want to get everything under 2011.

Ever since I came back from my almost month-long travel, I do not feel like I have had a decent meal. That really absolutely mouthwatering meal that I always like to satisfy my cravings with. On the upside, I lost weight. But I am already going far from the topic.

We were supposed to eat at Gustavus last month. It was disappointing when I was trying to ring the number posted for an entire day (and succeeding days) just to end up with busy tones. We passed by the area and discovered it was closed. And because none of us got down to check if there was a notice, we did not know that they were going through a transition that time.

And then a week ago, I randomly looked for Gustavus’ Facebook page and discovered it is now known as Krave. Also, that the chef is different as we were informed by our server during that dinner. As the case, they also did a revamp on the menu of the restaurant.

The place probably sits around 30 at most. I got shy to take a photo because the space was quite intimate and that maybe the other patrons may frown upon it (yes, I still sometimes respond to social pressure). It is a very good place to lounge around. The interior has couch sitting very apt for this particular purpose, also that the place has warm lighting perfectly conducive for a date or an intimate family gathering. I would imagine the lunch crowd to be different, most probably they will be in suits and ties conducting business meetings.

Pasto at The Fort

Posted on September 26th, 2011 by Kristel

I realized I have dined in Pasto when I was not into blogging yet. That part of the Fort Strip was very familiar to me as I used to hang out a lot in Pier 1 and Café Puccini (which had one of the best Four Cheese Pizzas, I’m not sure if the quality these days is the same). Anyway, due to the fact that it was too long ago, I can’t remember the food anymore. I saw a coupon sold at Deal Dozen that cost Php 315 which included an order of pizza and two orders of soup. I thought, that was not bad at all.

Cozy at Café Mary Grace

Posted on September 8th, 2011 by Kristel

From what I remember, this establishment used to be that quaint little space beside Chelsea in Serendra for coffee or hot chocolate. Now that it has opened a branch in Greenbelt, I found myself going back several times just to have a nice chat with people in my life.
