Here are some of the sights we have been around Taipei. There were a couple that we missed but we were generally happy at the places we went to.
Taipei Zoo
After checking in, we went straight to Taipei Zoo which was probably around 30-40 minutes away from where we stayed. Its train stop was even named after it along the Wenshan-Neihu line (aka Brown Line). The zoo was open from 9am-5pm but they don’t allow visitors after 4pm. For a good visit, I think half a day spent will suffice. We actually got in a little bit past 1pm and we were still able to move around and see things. The zoo was not crowded when we were there as well.

I do not know what the benchmark is in sliding. After zip-lining and wild water rafting, sliding off from a great height was next. I told you I was pretty anxious about this Davao trip. It was crazy.

White Moon is a bar lounge built within the same building as Hotel H2O. Despite our attempt to try it out, because I stayed during the rainy season, I couldn’t go lounging in an outdoor bar, thus, we ended up eating at Makansutra.

I have no idea what the name means (do you? Let me know.). The restaurant is designed like a group of Asian food in different booths segmented by country. As they say, it is like hawker’s food under a roof, a la carte.

It was my second time a few months ago to visit the Manila Ocean Park. I heard it was developed by the same group that did the one in Singapore. Anyway, I went back because the entrance tickets for the Ocean Park are included in the room we availed for a night at Hotel H2O.
