Ultimate Relaxation at Bellarocca Part 1

Posted on February 26th, 2012 by Kristel

What is an ideal vacation for you? I admit, I like the stress that comes with the preparation for a vacation. I do my research but try not to overdo it so that I remain to be enthusiastic about the place, especially if it is my first time.

Now, a beach vacation is an entirely different story. When going to the beach is the plan, I instantly crave to take a back seat and just let everything that should happen, happen. It is also how I have vacations when in Baguio. It is not exactly doable for me when in Boracay though because the island changes and evolves and is so alive, I feel like I have to keep up.

What Kind of Traveler are You?

Posted on April 13th, 2011 by Kristel

I do not believe in zodiac signs but I like reading them whenever I flip through a magazine or just happen to open a link about it. This was one of those instances as I follow The Lost Girls and a post about how one travels based on one’s zodiac popped out of my screen through my Google Reader.

I’m under the Pisces sign and here is what my zodiac apparently says about how I travel:

Give them a beach vacation or a visit to a tropical island and the Pisces is right at home. The water sign fish loves being near the ocean and is overcome with a calming sense of peace when they hear the waves hit the shore. Although they love water, cruises are not a good fit for this sign because of their wild imagination and sense of adventure. The Pisces need to be able to roam free and explore and can’t be constrained to the walls of the lower deck. Getting the opportunity to experiment with photography, painting or pottery while on holiday would tap into the creative vein of the Pisces and make for a truly memorable trip. The one cautionary note that arises from the characteristics of this sign when traveling is the need to reign in their whimsical spirit occasionally to ensure you stick to a schedule when it comes to making it to the airport for a flight or arriving on time for a dinner reservation.
