I am not really a fan of Hello Kitty, not even when I was younger. I mean, the products are cute and girly but I never made an irrational purchase just because Hello Kitty’s face is stamped on the merchandise. Haha. But, it seemed that it was important for me to drop by the Hello Kitty Café in Seoul since everyone seemed to have included it in their itinerary. And since I have seen all the temples there were to see in Seoul, I have a bit of a free time.

It was my first time to spend Christmas Day and New Year’s Day some place other than my home. But, as they say, your home is where you are loved and last Christmas, it was in Singapore. My Mom and I flew to Singapore to spend the holidays with my brother because the industry he is in demands him to be really busy when all of us normal mortals enjoy our vacation days. And since my brother was working on Christmas Day, we celebrated it sometime between Christmas and January 1st.

I have been living on a “just say yes” for quite some time now. Although it is costing me quite a sum of money compared to how I usually spend, I am having the time of my life. I know soon enough this “yes-spree” has to come to an end because I am sometimes driving myself crazy from all the commitments and activities I have said yes to (but please know, with all my heart, I want/wanted to do them).

Buffet dining is exciting for people as it is universal, everyone will see something that they want to eat, regardless of that person’s cuisine preference. The good news is, Marriott Café has incorporated a teppanyaki station that serves different teppanyaki dishes in their already abundant choices of food. Chef Manuel treated us to several exhibition while he was cooking on the teppan or the iron plate and made us salivate from all the flip flopping he did with the food.
