I blogged about Spiral a couple of years ago and now that it is under renovation, I can’t help but to look forward to its re-opening come August this year. During the Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila’s official website launch, I got a glimpse of the food being offered by the hotel lately.
I know, everyone has been complaining about the heat. I am no exemption (well, unless I’m in the office, because it is winter there, every day). Anyway, in relation to the post I made a few days ago, how much I long to go to the beach (but I have no one to go with that will fit my schedule, unfortunately), this song somehow makes it a little bearable. It’s cute and it is a far cry from the usual house songs I enjoy when summer strikes. Remember, Bonnie Bailey’s Ever After? Hahaha, I know, 2005 just made a comeback, I kid.
Anyway, here’s a cute song from Simple Plan called Summer Paradise featuring Sean Paul. It makes such a good road trip song or beach bumming song, don’t you think? I do not know when I will be living a carefree life again, even for just a few days, so enjoy this for me!
The 5 star hotel in Manila, Sofitel Philippine Plaza recently launched their official Manila website: www.sofitelmanila.com. When social networking is at everyone’s daily lives, I find it thrilling that companies recognize this happening and does something about it to everyone’s advantage.
And by that, I mean… a beach trip! Hay, so painful to be stuck in the scorching metro day in and out. I would die without an air condition on these days. Anyway, just a couple of post from my past beach trips, because I miss going to one. I really really do. And I have no motivation to lose weight because even a lift of a finger causes me to sweat and it’s so sticky, it’s terribly disgusting.
Birthday dinner means a new restaurant. I remember wanting to eat at Nuvo when I was still in college but couldn’t really tag anyone with me. For a while, I forgot about it and I was just used to passing by that area, almost everyday and have gotten used to Nuvo being just there. And so I saw a good deal at TCAT Philippines (which by the way has excellent customer service), one of the group buying sites (I no longer look at them one by one, this just happen to somehow made it to my Facebook feed). Hehe. Anyway, it was paying Php 650 for a Php 1,000 voucher. Not bad right? I bought quite a few.
Anyway, we are always a bunch when we go out for my birthday dinner, which makes me happy really. I love that my siblings will eat everything and anything, with an occasional comment here and there. If I knew how to cook, they would have made me happy finishing up the dishes I made. Anyway, enough about us. Let me walk you through our experience.
